Savor a selection of characteristic Tuscan wines and explore an alluring village on this delightful tour. Venture into the low hills of Tuscany, a magnificent landscape of vineyards, olive groves and fields of golden grain, and discover historic Antica Fattoria La Parrina, one of the few traditional farms remaining from the early 1900s, when the region experienced an agrarian renaissance. You’ll find that the farm produces organic cheeses, flavorful olive oils and extraordinary wines, some of which you’ll sample. Perhaps you’ll sip a fruity, white Parrina Vermentino, a ruby-red merlot with notes of licorice and coffee or a full-bodied Parrina Sangiovese, crafted from the sangiovese grape native to Tuscany, accompanied by a fresh-baked schiaciatta flatbread infused with olive oil and topped with rosemary. Appreciate free time in nearby Orbetello, a compact town sitting on a picturesque protected lagoon.
