With knolls so prominent in Gozo’s topography, you’ll quickly learn why the island’s official emblem features three hills. View sharp limestone cliffs and protruding boulders showcasing the honey-colored stone from which most Gozitan buildings are constructed. Appreciate the verdant landscape of Malta’s greenest island as you watch for native trees such as carobs, figs and wild almonds, and revel in the magnificence of Gozo’s coastline, with its myriad coves and crystalline water. Time and weather permitting, you’ll visit a picturesque, beach-rimmed bay for the opportunity to relax or perhaps enjoy a refreshing swim, a perfect end to a magical day.
