The five extensively experienced senior officers will lead 532 crew when Seven Seas Grandeur debuts in nov 2023, offering exceptional personalized service to 746 guests on board the ship that exemplifies Regent’s Heritage of Perfection™.

To mark the announcement, Captain Luciano Montesanto filmed a special message from the shipyard in Ancona, Italy, updating loyal guests on the ship’s build progress and describing what the honor of helming the newest member of The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™ means to him. Captain Luciano Montesanto
Captain Montesanto was born in Crotone, a small city of Calabria, Italy. After completing his education and training by the age of 19 at the Nautical Institute, he began to sail the world as a cadet for a tanker shipping company. Gerente Geral Franck Galzy
General Manager Galzy is responsible for overseeing the flawless delivery of hotel as well as food and beverage services. Depois de se formar na CAFA Sommelier Wine School, em Angers, França, Franck iniciou sua carreira no famoso Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa, no Reino Unido. Franck ingressou na Regent em 1999, onde rapidamente galgou novas posições. Franck became Regent’s youngest General Manager in 2009 and has coordinated many special events during some of the line’s most spectacular voyages. Franck was part of the build team for Seven Seas Explorer® and was also part of the team that launched Seven Seas Splendor.
Staff Captain Giuseppe Gargiulo
Nascido em Nápoles, Itália, Giuseppe sonhava em trabalhar a bordo de navios de cruzeiro desde criança. Vindo de uma família de marinheiros e pescadores, e com uma forte paixão pelo mar, estudou na Escola Náutica de Sorrento, onde se formou em 1999. Ele começou sua carreira logo depois como cadete de convés em navios de carga. Em 2003, ingressou no setor de cruzeiros e obteve sua licença Master ilimitada, em 2006. Giuseppe agora reside em Sorrento, Itália, com sua esposa e filhos. Durante as férias, ele adora passar o tempo com sua adorável família, caminhar pelas belas trilhas naturais de Sorrento e da Costa Amalfitana, além de fazer passeios de barco e pescar.
Chief Engineer Antonio Lagana
O engenheiro-chefe Lagana mora em uma pequena vila, a cerca de 1.500 pés acima do nível do mar, perto de Reggio Calabria, Itália, de onde tem uma bela vista para o Estreito de Messina. As a child, he used to see the cruise ships passing and had a vision of one day working onboard. Ele estudou no Colégio Náutico de Messina e depois de se formar passou três anos na Marinha Italiana, seguindo posteriormente para trabalhar em navios de carga. Cruise Director David Nevin
Nascido em Halifax, Canadá, e criado em uma fazenda nas pradarias de Saskatchewan, David formou-se em Teatro Musical no Sheridan College, em Toronto, e já figurou em musicais como Evita, My Fair Lady e Grease! In 2001, David’s career took a nautical turn when he embarked on his first cruise ship as a singer and dancer. Ao longo de sua carreira de 20 anos no mar, David subiu na hierarquia do departamento de entretenimento. In 2016, he joined the Regent family as an Assistant Cruise Director and was promoted to Cruise Director on Seven Seas Voyager® in 2018. An ardent adventurer, David spends his vacations exploring the world, hiking, camping and spending time with family in Canada.
