The Ultimate Berlin Experience Shore Excursion in Berlin, Germany
Upon arriving in Germany's capital city, you’ll observe one of its most poignant symbols, the restored Brandenburg Gate, which was once part of the Berlin Wall. You’ll also view Unter den Linden, the fashionable avenue of aristocratic old Berlin, which extends from the Brandenburg Gate to Alexanderplatz.
Continuing on to the East Side Gallery, it’s time to contemplate a section of the Berlin Wall on which artists, both famous and obscure, were encouraged to express themselves in paint. Although Germany has been reunified since 1990, many of the most noteworthy sites are reminders of its earlier divisiveness and war years.
Following free time and lunch on your own, we’ll visit Reichstag, which once again houses Germany's parliament and the new Memorial for the Victims of War and Dictatorship.
