Descrição

Spend a delightful evening walking around the atmospheric Nyhavn district before dining at one of its most popular restaurants. This 17th-century waterfront district will be aglow as the twinkling city lights will be reflected on the glass-smooth waters of the canals. While meandering past the colorful townhouses that line the waterways, you can’t help but be enchanted by the setting. It is wonderfully photogenic, one of the reasons so many films such as the Oscar-nominated The Danish Girl have been shot there. The district is even more well-known for being where Hans Christian Andersen spent much of his life. If you pass the four-story building at Nyhavn 20, you will see a historical marker commemorating the author, who wrote the fairytale The Princess and the Pea there. The latter part of the evening will be spent dining at Nyhavns Færgekro, a restaurant in a 17th-century house that a shipping company once occupied.
