    DIA 1

    Upon arrival at Calgary International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the beautiful Rimrock Resort Hotel (or similar) in Banff, Alberta. The surrounding mountains are framed beautifully from the comfort of your Premium guest room. Meals are on your own today. Drive time from Calgary to Banff is approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Please meet your driver outside the arrivals hall

    A complimentary shuttle stops at the Rimrock Resort which can take you on the short drive into the town of Banff. Here you will find an array of restaurants and unique shopping opportunities. Shuttle schedules are available at the hotel’s Reception or Concierge Desks.

    Nota: Your Premium room at the Rimrock Resort Hotel will have two Queen beds.

    DIA 2

    After breakfast at leisure at your hotel, you will enjoy an exclusive Regent Seven Seas Group half-day tour of Banff with a driver-guide. Highlights in Banff include Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Also take a ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain where you will experience a stunning bird's-eye view of six incredible mountain ranges.

    Guests wishing to be dropped off in town may do so and take the local complimentary shuttle back to the hotel or return to the hotel where the afternoon is at your leisure. Lunch is on your own however a group dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

    DIA 3

    After breakfast at leisure at your hotel, you will enjoy an exclusive Regent Seven Seas Group full-day tour to Lake Louise with a driver-guide.

    Sit back and enjoy the views as the Canadian Rockies unfold around you. Begin with a drive along Canada’s Icefields Parkway, one of the World’s most scenic highways.

    One of the highlights of the day will be a visit to the Columbia Icefield which includes a ride on an “Ice Explorer” on the Athabasca Glacier as well as walking along the new Glacier Skywalk - an interpretive cliff- edge walkway that leads to a breathtaking glass – floored observation platform suspended 280 meters (918 feet) above the Sunwapta Valley floor. Time will be allotted should you wish to grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria at the Columbia Icefield.

    The tour concludes in Lake Louise where you will have time to explore the Lake and its surrounds before checking in to the Chateau. Weather permitting, you surely won’t want to miss the spectacular sunset over the lake!

    Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta's Banff National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your spacious and luxurious 445 sq ft Guest Room is located in the Mount Temple Wing. Although there is no lake view, Deluxe Mt. Temple rooms are equipped with air conditioning and provide various views of the resort grounds and surrounding mountain ranges.

    Lunch is on your own today however, a group dinner is included at your hotel.

    DIA 4

    Following an early morning shared motor coach transfer to Lake Louise Station, you will board the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer train. A gourmet breakfast will be served onboard shortly after departure.

    The Rocky Mountaineer will head west through the majestic Canadian Rockies to your overnight destination of Kamloops. Highlights include passing by Craigellachie - where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven in 1885, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels – a true engineering feat, and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

    On arrival at the Kamloops station, you will be transferred by shared motor coach to your overnight accommodation (the exact hotel will be confirmed by Rocky Mountaineer approximately 7 days prior to departure however accommodations may be subject to adjustment). The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    DIA 5

    Following an early morning shared motor coach transfer to the Kamloops station, you will re-board the Rocky Mountaineer, enjoy another gourmet breakfast on board and continue west along the banks of the Fraser River as it winds to the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver.

    On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the BC Interior, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains and into the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River.

    At Vancouver's Rocky Mountaineer Station, you will board a shared motor coach and transfer to the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver (or similar hotel). Your Signature Harbor View Room offers spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains, Coal Harbor or Stanley Park.

    The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    Rocky Mountaineer provides complimentary vouchers for admission to the Vancouver Lookout which provides panoramic views over the city, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains. This attraction is approximately a ten-minute walk from your hotel. Vouchers can be used on Day 5, 6 or 7.

    DIA 6

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy an exclusive Regent Seven Seas Group tour across Lions Gate Bridge and into North Vancouver with a driver-guide. Included is admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge – one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver.

    Originally built in 1889, Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The twenty-seven-acre park also includes Cliffwalk, a cantilevered walkway clinging to the granite cliff high above Capilano Canyon. Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you up to 100 feet (30m) above the forest floor, offers you a unique squirrel’s eye perspective of the forest. Comfortable walking shoes are a must!

    After returning to the hotel in mid-afternoon, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

    Bagagem: The Rocky Mountaineer train allows for two pieces of luggage per person (total not to exceed 60 lbs.). Your airline policy may differ, so if you have excess luggage you may wish to consult a luggage-shipping firm and have your bags shipped from your home to the cruise terminal in Vancouver.

    As a Gold Leaf Service guest, your checked luggage will travel separately from the train and will be waiting for you at your various hotel locations. Please note that there is no overhead or under seat storage – your carryon bag must fit at your feet.
