NOTE: This is an extensive 4-day program that covers a lot of ground both on foot and by luxury coach. There is a lot of driving involved. This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties due to the amount of walking, steps, and uneven ground. DAY 1 - April 25, 2027

Begin your Incheon adventure with a warm welcome as you disembark and meet your guide at the pier. From there, embark on a journey through this vibrant city, blending history, modernity, and local charm.

Start with a visit to Landing Memorial Hall, a significant historical site that commemorates the arrival of the first Korean independence movement forces in 1945. Here, you'll learn about Korea's struggle for freedom and independence, making it a moving and educational experience.

Next, head to G-Tower, a striking symbol of Incheon’s dynamic growth. As you explore the tower, you'll enjoy sweeping views of the city and its surrounding areas—offering a unique perspective on Incheon’s transformation into a modern hub.

After a morning of exploration, you'll enjoy a delicious Korean lunch at a local restaurant, giving you the chance to unwind and savor authentic dishes.

The tour concludes with a transfer to your hotel, where you’ll check in. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

Your hotel is ideally located in Sogong-dong and also has easy access to Seoul's top tourist destinations, such as Myeongdong and Cheonggyecheon Stream.

DAY 2 - April 26, 2027

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Seoul on this full-day tour, where you'll experience the best of Korea's past and present.

Your day begins with a meet-and-greet with your guide in the hotel lobby, followed by a short transfer to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the grandest of Seoul’s five royal palaces. Marvel at the impressive architecture and expansive grounds, and be sure to catch the Guard Changing Ceremony, a colorful and traditional spectacle.

Next, take a short walk to the National Folk Museum of Korea, where you'll explore exhibits that bring Korea's cultural history to life, from ancient artifacts to displays about everyday life through the centuries.

Afterwards, enjoy a well-deserved Korean lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll taste some of the country's most iconic dishes.

In the afternoon, explore Insadong, a lively neighborhood known for its traditional Korean arts and crafts. Wander through its charming streets, filled with galleries, antique shops, and tea houses.

You’ll also get to explore the peaceful Bukchon Hanok Village, a picturesque area of traditional Korean houses (hanok), offering a glimpse into Seoul’s past.

The final stop of the day is Gwangjang Market, one of Korea's oldest and busiest markets. Here, you’ll experience the vibrant atmosphere and sample a variety of local street foods—perfect for anyone eager to taste authentic Korean delicacies.

At the end of this full day of exploration, you'll be transferred back to your hotel, where you’ll have time to relax and reflect on your day of cultural discovery.

DAY 3 - April 27, 2027

Start your journey with a meet-and-greet with your guide in the hotel lobby, then transfer to Lotte SKY Tower, one of the tallest buildings in South Korea. Ascend to the observation deck for breathtaking panoramic views of Seoul’s skyline, the Han River, and the surrounding mountains—an unforgettable way to kick off the day.

Next, visit Bongeunsa Temple, a peaceful Buddhist temple located in the heart of the city. Explore the tranquil grounds, admire the traditional architecture, and learn about the spiritual practices that have shaped Korea's culture for centuries.

After the temple, enjoy a short walk to the Coex Mall, one of the largest underground shopping centers in the world. Here, you’ll tour the famous Starfield Library, a stunning multi-story library with towering bookshelves and a striking design. It’s the perfect spot to relax, explore, and soak in the modernity of Seoul.

For lunch, you’ll have a chance to indulge in a delicious Korean meal at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to the National Museum of Korea, where you’ll dive into Korea’s past through its extensive collection of art, artifacts, and historical exhibits. The museum provides a fascinating look at the country’s rich heritage, from ancient dynasties to the present day.

Your day continues with a visit to Myeongdong Street, one of Seoul's most bustling shopping districts. Stroll through this vibrant area filled with fashion boutiques, skincare shops, and street food stalls—ideal for picking up souvenirs or sampling tasty treats.

As the day draws to a close, enjoy a traditional Korean banquet-style dinner known as Hanjeongsik. This formal, multi-course meal features a variety of meticulously prepared dishes, offering a comprehensive taste of Korean culinary culture. Expect a balanced mix of flavors, textures, and colors, from savory stews to grilled meats, all served with an array of side dishes and banchan.

DAY 4 - April 28, 2027

Enjoy your final morning in Seoul with a delicious breakfast buffet at your hotel.

After breakfast, it’s time to check out of the hotel and prepare for your departure. For those with later flights, the hotel offers luggage storage, so you can explore the area or relax without the worry of your bags before your transfer.

When the time comes, you will be transferred to Incheon International Airport in accordance with your flight details.

?If you book extra nights through the cruise line, you will be transferred to the airport per the flight details provided. Check-out time is 11:00am (subject to change). Meals other than breakfast are on your own after Day 4 of your program.

Transfers:

?All guests booking their flights independently are required to ensure the cruise line has their most up to date flight details so that transfers to the airport can be arranged. If flight details are not received 14 days before your cruise start date, transfers will not be arranged.

?Should you book any extra nights on your own or your flight is not on the last day of the program, transfers are not included.

?Should you have a late departing flight you may wish to book an extra night so that you have occupation of your room until your departure. You will be asked to vacate your room by 11:00am. Day rooms can only be purchased directly through the hotel.

The local currency is the South Korean won (KRW), often symbolized as ?. The currency code for the South Korean won is KRW. Credit cards are generally accepted. No foreign currencies accepted.

Electricity

The standard electricity voltage is 220 volts with a frequency of 60 Hz. The power plugs and sockets used are of Type C and Type F, which have two round pins. If you’re traveling from a country that uses a different voltage or plug type, you may need a voltage converter and/or a plug adapter to use your electronic devices in South Korea.

Please note: Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. Guests who utilize a wheelchair and those with mobility concerns are advised to check with the cruise line in advance to see if any portion of the tour program may not be considered suitable for their individual situation. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.
